On rare occasions, we have been known to use the larger of our two editing suites to record single parts, vocals etc. but for the main we prefer not to, as this requires a fair amount of studio remodeling for the purpose and is not ideal.
Instead, we generally arrange the use of various local rehearsal studios, where our equipment can be set up and we can be guaranteed peace and quiet. These spaces are also relatively cheap, costing from £4 - £10 per hour.
We also use a range of halls, for larger groups (ranging from Leeds University's Great Hall - expensive but sounds spectacular - to our local Methodist church hall - costs around £15 per day, but a fair bit smaller), and smaller rooms at places such as community centres and churches. Basically, if you don't have anywhere you can use to record, we will be able to find somewhere suitable. Contact us for details.
