This means that we have taken a fully equipped recording studio, with all the necessary black boxes with flashing lights etc. on and carefully housed it in durable flight cases. We can transport these anywhere and put it back together again. You could have a recording studio in your lounge this time tomorrow...
There are good reasons for us doing this.
Reason 1:
The most important one for us, and our customers is cost. A standard recording studio costs money to run, even when it's not doing anything. Mortgage / rent, lighting, heating, council tax etc make a large studio facility costly to maintain. A cost which is passed onto recording artists.
We do not have these costs. We run a small editing suite, sufficient for our needs for any pre and post recording production work and take our mobile studio out into the world to record people. Because our overheads are lower, we cost less.
Reason 2:
We get the same high quality results you would expect from a costly recording studio. We use the same equipment you will find in many studios around the country. In some cases, in fact, our equipment is better than you will find elsewhere. (see FAQ 4 for details).
Reason 3:
We can go to our clients. This is particularly useful if they are too large to fit in most rooms, like an orchestra, or impractical to move, like a school. It means we can offer our services to a wider range of people and makes sure no two days are ever the same!
